Tri City
Brewing Receives Bronze Award!!
Hello
Everyone! We are very excited to announce that one of
our new beers was awarded a bronze medal at the competition
for the upcoming World Expo of Beer. The World Expo
of Beer will be held in Frankenmuth, Michigan on May
18th and 19th. Our new beer that won the award is an
Irish Red Ale. We have not released the beer to the
public yet, so you will have to attend the World Expo
of Beer next weekend if you want to sample it. We are
putting the Irish Red into production and will have
it on the market as soon as possible. Well done Paul!!
We are
excited to have our flagship beer, Phoenix Golden Ale,
available for sale at the Dow Diamond for every home
game of The Great Lakes Loons for this year. When you
are at a game this year, please visit our tap, which
is located directly behind home plate. If you are standing
on the concourse looking directly at home plate and
the pitcher’s mound, you will be looking directly at
our tap. This is the only place in the stadium where
you can purchase Phoenix, so be sure to seek us out.

Another piece
of exciting news that we would like to share with you is we
have recently added a second distributor. Griffin Beverage
Company in West Branch, Michigan will soon be distributing
Phoenix Golden Ale throughout the northern counties in the
Lower Peninsula as well as more than half of the counties
in the Upper Peninsula. We are currently in a pre-sell mode
with Griffin where we are working with their sales staff lining
up draft accounts that will be carrying Phoenix.
Last month
we mentioned in our newsletter that we were working hard on
the design and implementation of our bottling line. That work
continues and we are getting closer every week to having the
final package in place. The scale at which we will be bottling
has forced us to put a great deal of planning into the bottling
line. Bottling is a very complex operation, so we are going
at this slow so we can do it right. We still hope to have
bottled forms of Phoenix as well as our other styles available
this summer. We will keep you up to date via this newsletter.

will be the only chance you will have to try our award winning
Irish Red prior to its release to the public. We also have
a third beer that we will be debuting at this festival. You
will have to come to the festival to discover this third style!
